Program Manager for Private Duty Nursing

We are looking for a qualified Program Manager for Private Duty Nursing to oversee and manage the nursing team at our Joplin, MO office!

Our Ideal candidate requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude. You are the right fit if you thrive in nursing operations and have a heart for the nurses and families you serve. Our Program Manager will help develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate the needs of our nurses; elevate the practice of nursing through facilitation and involvement in clinical advancement program, shared decision making, peer review and mentor development of our Private Duty Nursing team.

Availability: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000

Responsibilities

• Manage the PDN Program in the Joplin area
• Ensure operational standards are met
• Drive productivity and quality assurance
• Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures
• Evaluate nurses’ performance
• Instrument of open and positive communication
• Handle complaints or other issues
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, family and nursing team
• Assess and document according to policy and POC.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Manager
• In-depth knowledge of Private Duty Nursing and/or Home Care is a plus but not required - we will train
• Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in nursing
• Team management skills
• Great communication and people skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
