Principal Ministerial Officer - Office of the Secretary - 978995

Duties

The Principal Ministerial Officer will lead the provision of advice, liaison and support to the Office of the Minister, alongside providing high-level strategic support and advice to the Manager on a broad range of complex and significant matters.

Period of Appointment

Ongoing - ASAP Start Date

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

73.5 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience working alongside children and young people who have been supported by the Child Safety, Out of Home Care and educational services.
• A deep understanding of disadvantage through a systems lens and the intersecting factors that may cause further harm in children and young people’s lives
