Job Description
Reporting to the US Head of Integration and Transformation, the Program Manager is a critical position within US operations. This person supports strategic and transformational initiatives spanning the organization. For identified initiatives, this position will support all initial and ongoing project management requirements, including project approach and plan development, project tracking and monitoring, issue & risk management, project & team communications, meeting facilitation, and project reporting.
Program Manager’s responsibilities include developing strong relationships across the various functions within the US Organization and global level, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing governance information for periodic review and assessment. Program Manager also answers queries and identifies new opportunities for operational excellence. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Group function such as Business Analysts, Projects, IT, Compliance and HR departments) to accelerate business growth and improve operational performance. This position may require occasional travel.
Tasks & Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the M&A Integration and strategic Business Transformation initiatives ensuring that the services delivered through this team are of the highest standards
- Support cross-functional / departmental teams engaged in identified initiatives
- Assist with the development of project management tools and resources that can be consistently used across identified initiatives, including project plans, project tracking tools, and related items
- For assigned projects, develop project-specific documentation, including implementation / rollout plans, training and communication materials, weekly / monthly update presentations for leadership, and related items
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project-related requirements are successfully delivered to support active projects
- Meet business transformation project deliverables on time and within scope and budget
- Contribute to the Strategy and Vision of the Transformation of Client Services
- Provide support to the Individuals within the team and the broader teams that will be used to deliver the Transformation agenda
- Integrating multiple business information sets (e.g. finance, IT, client, HR, etc)
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Gather and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications
Qualifications – Must Have
- 5+ years of experience
- Comfort and experience working across borders and with different cultures.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Evidence of strong relationship building & communication skills a key differentiator.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple things at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Grace under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or any other relevant field or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong MS Office skills – particularly Excel.
Qualifications – Preferred
- Financial Services / PE Company or related industry experience.
- Firsthand experience leading projects, particularly integrations and/or other strategic transformational programs
- Strong working knowledge of Visual Basic and/or Excel macros
- Master’s Degree
- Location preferences are Dallas / Fort Worth, TX area
