As a Software Architect Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Farmers Branch TX.

A strategic technical leader focused on shaping the target state data ecosystem, guiding direction, and ensuring solutions are technically sound and scalable
• Target State Definition
o Define and evolve the future-state data vision (platforms, flows, capabilities)
o Identify gaps between current and target state and guide roadmap priorities
• Technical Leadership
o Bring strong depth across data platforms, pipelines, cloud, and integrations
o Provide technical guidance and guardrails, not detailed architecture ownership
o Drive reusable, platform-first mindset vs point solutions
• Problem Solving & Solution Shaping - Ensure alignment to enterprise patterns (data domains, medallion layers, etc.)
• Cross-Team Influence –
o Work across engineering, data, product, and business teams
o Align stakeholders on direction, trade-offs, and sequencing

Job Description

• Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes.
• Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic.
• Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms.
• Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities.
• Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications.
