Coors Field is home to the MLB Colorado Rockies in Denver, Colorado. Aramark supports our clients by providing a high level of attention to detail and outstanding customer service in all that we do. The Premium Picnic Attendants role is to support the catering operations team in running successful catering orders and picnics within the ballpark.
The Picnic Attendant supports and carries out event set up, transporting equipment, food, or other supplies to the event location, serving guests during the event, and breaking down / cleaning up after the end of an event. Our ideal candidate is an individual who can work independently and communicate swiftly and consistently with their team and leadership. Making a lasting impression on our guests and ensuring that a five-star, white-gloved experience is made. Having a sweet tooth is a plus!
Possibility for overtime for select shifts. Ability to work evenings, holidays and special events may be required.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining the standards of operation as required by management
- Set food and beverage items in buffets according to premium service standards, setting appropriate utensils, sauces etc.
- Transport and deliver picnic food & beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
- Replenish food and beverage products during picnics
- Can perform a mixture of job tasks such as serving and bartending
- Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage areas
- Utilize equipment correctly
- Communicate to guests regarding food and beverage orders and reorders
- Verify that all sales are correctly reflected in customer invoices
- Must collect payment on orders if not already provided
- Keeping areas clean and neat
- Knowledge of various picnic and event locations within Coors Field
- Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) and annotate when equipment is not operable
- Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets
- Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required

Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older (Required)
- TEAM/ TiPS Certification (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
- ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
- Previous cash handling experience (Preferred)
- Previous bartending experience (Preferred)
- Ability to push a cart that weighs up to 50lbs. through doorways and over carpet (Required)
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Good written and verbal communication skills (Preferred)
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Work shifts that are 6 – 10 hours in length
This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE.
This role requires membership into UNITE Here Local 23 – Denver, Colorado
This position is considered an Hourly/ Seasonal/ Part-Time Employee/ Unionized
Compensation Data
The tipped hourly rate for this position is $15.27.
This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of the job posting.
