Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The Dental Assistant will work alongside the dental team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
2. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
3. Take and record patient medical and dental histories.
4. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
5. Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
6. Perform office tasks as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
3. X-ray certification preferred.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
