Position Description:
Develops analytical tools used in the portfolio construction process -- platforms for research, risk models, and optimization that include oversight of a data environment that enables those platforms. Maintains backlogs and facilitates Agile ceremonies, includes standups, sprint plans, and retrospectives. Inspects sprint progress. Defines and delivers against key performance indicators (KPIs). Tests, maintains, and monitors computer programs and systems, includes coordinates the installation of computer programs and systems. Maps and improves workplace account opens and enrollment processes (online and via live channel) and associated technologies such as customer data protection and cyber security systems. Leads the development of business solutions and offerings to meet customer needs in the account opens and enrollment process by partners with internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Determines the appropriate analytical engines for use on the platform.
Focuses on backlogs and ensures the timely delivery of capabilities to customers.
Develops team strategies to ensure alignment with business goals.
Prioritizes user story backlogs by assessing interdependencies.
Writes user stories to seed product backlogs.
Defines and executes required readiness activities.
Collaborates with chapter leads and stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and create trade off decisions that maximize overall value for customers.
Collaborates with User Experience Designers to define optimal user experience features.
Develops, documents, and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
Consults with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
Analyzes workplace managed accounts solutions, includes profiles methodologies, investment processes and analytics of the investment outcome.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing business & system analysis in a capital market, investment, or asset management environment.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing business & system analysis in a capital market, investment, or asset management environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") building and enhancing software applications used for Securities and Capital Market - Portfolio Construction, Portfolio Management, Fundamental Research, and Risk & Exposure- including the oversight of a data environment that enables those platforms within an asset management environment.
