Senior Software Engineer

Overview:
Join our dynamic engineering team as a Software Engineer III, where your primary responsibility will be to develop high-quality software solutions. As part of a highly motivated engineering group, you'll contribute to the design and development of complex, resilient, and scalable enterprise products. In this role, you'll solve intricate technical challenges and assist in defining the technical roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software that meets requirements, encourages component reuse, and supports ease of maintenance.
- Diagnose, isolate, and implement solutions for system failures caused by software errors.
- Identify and implement process improvements within engineering practices.
- Utilize software-based maintenance and tracking tools efficiently.
- Provide input and technical content for documentation, user materials, and training.
- Conduct unit tests, track issues, and implement changes to meet test plans and requirements.
- Design and implement software mechanisms to enhance code stability, performance, and reusability.
- Participate in and lead code review sessions.
- Produce accurate estimates for work efforts and assist others with task estimation and dependency identification.
- Lead and mentor other engineering resources within projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in your field.
- Engage with industry groups and keep abreast of technology trends, sharing insights with team members to form best practices.
- Communicate effectively with Solution Management and other internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization.
- Assist developers with complex problem resolution and improve the use of AMS development tools.
- Work on improving the use of tools related to AMS development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software design and development.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the preferred technology stack.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts.
- Extensive experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- Knowledge of multi-threading concepts.
- Experience with developing REST APIs and documentation.
- Unit testing with JUnits and/or BDD with Cucumber.
- Familiarity with messaging services and caching, e.g., RabbitMQ.
- Strong SQL or PostgreSQL database skills.
- Deep understanding of design patterns and ability to design class/dat
