About your future role 
 

The candidate will be part of the "Identity & Privileged Access Management" Organizational Unit, in the Cybersecurity area of the NEXI Group. The unit operates internationally across the entire Group perimeter, ensuring a comprehensive and secure management of the identity and privileges lifecycle in compliance with best practices and security regulations.

 Involved as a primary stakeholder in business and technological projects in all phases (from analysis and design to final delivery), the Unit works across the entire functional and technological stack, from platforms development, management, maintenance and evolution, up to managing process and compliance aspects.  

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based backend applications
• Building and optimizing frontend applications using JavaScript
• Collaborating in Agile teams to deliver high-quality software
• Ensuring security best practices are followed in development
• Supporting automation processes for CI/CD and deployment
• Participating in DevOps activities and cloud-based implementations
• Maintaining technical documentation and best practices

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

The candidate holds a degree in scientific disciplines and has gained a solid experience in the field of software development in modern contexts. He is method-oriented, analytical, and motivated to continually expand, improve, and update his knowledge. The candidate is capable of leading initiatives to concrete realization, leveraging his technical expertise, organizational skills, and successful interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders from various disciplinary backgrounds:

• Proficiency in Java for backend development
• Proficiency in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST services) for frontend development
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases best practices
• Knowledge of DevOps principles
• Python or equivalent scripting skills
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of security and secure coding principles

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

• Experience with Spring Boot
• Familiarity with automation (CI/CD) processes
• Familiarity with cloud technologies
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a mandatory requirement for effective operation in an international environment.
