Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Quality controls technicians perform inspections on materials.
· Review final products to ensure quality specifications are met.
· The technician also uses test equipment to evaluate the materials or products.
· Records data from test procedures and inspections.
· Create reports for the quality management team.
· Approach issues using problem solving mindset and techniques.
Required Skills/Experience
· A two-year degree for in a quality or engineering field, or comparable work experience is preferred.
· Experience and knowledge of the industry and products preferred.
· Internally – DMS Team Lead experience or Supervisor Boot Camp completion a plus.
· Internally – Knowledge and training of the DMOS System a plus.
· Ability to think on the fly and come up with solutions to basic problems and elevate more serious issues using facts and data.
· A technician must have computer skills to record inspection data. Microsoft Excel is the most commonly used software. Proficiency with that tool is a plus. Basic knowledge is a requirement.
· Quality control technicians must have strong attention to detail.
· Ability to read production specifications and blueprints a plus.
