Staff Product Designer

Guideline is looking for a Staff Product Designer to join a collaborative team focused on building out the best experience across devices for our customers saving for retirement. You will be joining a cross-functional team responsible for our core product that serves the needs of employers providing retirement benefits and enabling their employees to save.  

The Team

From designing tools that help individuals navigate their financial future to building new retirement offerings, our team is contributing to Guideline’s mission of ensuring everyone arrives at retirement with a plan.

What You Will Work On

• Partner with a product manager and engineering lead to understand opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and own the roadmap for building the experience for individuals saving for retirement across web and native mobile platforms
• Work with the rest of the product design team to level-up our craft and quality of what we bring to Guideline
• Lead the design vision, strategy and execution of the end-to-end experience within your team’s area of the product experience

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience designing for cross-platform web and mobile applications
• A portfolio that shows a seasoned ability to make impact for both customers and businesses through product experiences across all platforms
• Confident in using your product & design thinking to build long-term vision, defining design strategy, and the execution chops to get there
• Proficiency in the latest design tools (we use Figma for all things design & prototyping)
• Expert storyteller and communicator that is able to articulate design decisions with rationale and data with other designers, cross-functional teammates and to leadership

Offer Package

The expected Salary Range for this position is $160,500 - $192,000 annually. Compensation is determined by numerous factors such as your qualifications, experience, and work location.
