Archaeological Field Technician

Archaeological Field Technicians – Phase I Survey, Sevier County, Tennessee

RK&K is seeking multiple qualified Archaeological Field Technicians for a large Phase I archaeological survey in Sevier County, Tennessee. Fieldwork is anticipated to start on July 7, 2025 and will continue through October 2025. Pay rates range from $18.00 - $22.00/hr and will be commensurate with experience. Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
• Archaeological field school 
• Ability to work in the field under adverse conditions
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to walk long distances
• Ability to document shovel test excavations and record detailed test unit notes
• Ability to work well with others

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Phase I experience strongly preferred
