Plastic Omnium Module division develops, assembles and delivers complex, just-in-sequence modules for mass production. World leader, HBPO, now 100% Plastic Omnium, specializes in highly integrated modules, including front-end & cockpit modules, center consoles and charge lid modules. Through new BEVs architectures, it constantly develops new modules with customized solutions.

Sr. Program Manager Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Target Agreement
    • Compliance with the agreed targets together with OEMs quality, costs and deadlines using the key profit-assurance methods (e.g., Risk management, FMEA, change management).
  • Project Coordination / Project Planning
    • Apply the documented standard processes for product development (Gate process, PAÜ / PAB, Project timing-schedule, RFP, LOP), detect deviations to the project schedule on time and define the necessary activities to avoid or recover delays.
  • Product / Project controlling
    • In agreed scope and agreed timings report on partial results under the Gate Process and periodic project status meetings.
  • Escalation
    • Perform risk management on a regular basis (monthly) and rank risk and assign actions for mitigation. Inform and integrate the next escalation level(s) in targeted vulnerable situations.
  • Development Technology
    • Compliance with defined technical standards in the development, integration of new production technologies.
  • Supplier Selection
    • Meetings of make-or-buy decisions concerning development / purchased parts / tool suppliers with buyer’s project and team specialists within the defined Sourcing Committees and benefits of the know-how of the supplier within the prescribed standards.
  • Project-related sales
    • Support sales with preparing the project related offers, calculation and negotiations of all project-related offers.
    • Perform commercial tracking to tooling recovery and customer payments together with sales.
  • Personnel Management / Development
    • Planning of internal and external capacity and assisting in the naming of the team members with respect to the individual potentials and skills.
      If necessary, feedback to the department head for the annual staff appraisals of the team members.
  • Financial knowledge for managing projects
    • Capability for updating the CTL for each Gate Review and capability for adjusting in a monthly basis the financial parameters along the course of the project development.
  • Change Management 
    • Capability to implement HBPO's change management process and improve the project profitability.
  • Leadership on team meetings 
    • ​​​​​​​Capability for leading and moderating team meetings so that the project tasks are closed on time. 
      Meeting must be efficient and effective led with proper documentation, agenda and visualization (Timing, LOPs etc).
  • Customer / Supplier interaction
    • Capacity for interacting assertively with the customer in a respectful way and at the same time achieving HBPO's goals.
  • Presentations and reports to key stakeholders 
    • ​​​​​​​Communicate effectively to the organization and stakeholders’ complex ideas as well as the project status in a simple and effective way throughout the usage of (Gate Reviews, monthly project reviews, risk assessments, etc) as needed.
  • Risks and opportunities management
    • ​​​​​​​Capability to recognize risks and opportunities for a project.  
    • Be able to implement appropriate countermeasures to mitigate the risks and take advantage of the opportunities.  
    • Steer and moderate periodic risk management meetings with core and extended team and monitor risks throughout the entire project cycle (Gate 2 – Gate 7).
  • Understand and comply with company EHS policy.
  • Adhere to companies EHS Policies.
  • Other Duties as assigned
