Position Summary
The Director of Clinic Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple clinics and service lines within Washington Regional Medical System, with a primary focus on primary care and non-surgical specialty clinics. This role ensures efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered operations while driving business performance, financial management, strategic planning, and personnel development. The Director also leads the execution of corporate initiatives and projects as directed by System leadership.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and manage clinic operations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with Washington Regional’s mission, vision, strategic goals, and budgetary targets.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational strategies to optimize performance and patient care.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, collaborate with leadership to meet budget goals, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., facilities, marketing, HR, IT, billing) to achieve practice objectives and support integrated care.
- Practice Integration: Lead transitions for acquired or integrated physician practices within assigned service lines.
- Executive Consultation: Advise senior leadership on operational direction, strategic initiatives, and care coordination.
- Market Development: Analyze utilization, demographics, and market trends; lead initiatives to grow system services and strengthen community partnerships.
- Project Management: Oversee corporate projects, including care partnerships and health development initiatives, fostering relationships with key partners (e.g., UAMS, University of Arkansas, PHA).
- Budget & Performance: Collaborate with finance leadership to develop budgets and drive growth, revenue, and profitability.
