Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager providing support to the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Division (C3BM).
Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) has been tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network providing resilient decision advantage and enabling the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge. C3BM supports execution in many different focus areas. C3BM’s main efforts are Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE), Operational Response Team (ORT), and multiple mission integration teams such as Air, Maritime and multiple acquisitions consisting of both the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Space.
This is a full-time position that is located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA and is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities
The Senior Program Manager will provide acquisition and program management support to Government Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across the acquisition lifecycle. The position supports program execution activities involving cost, schedule, performance, risk management, acquisition documentation, milestone preparation, contractor coordination, and program reporting in support of Air Force acquisition programs.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Support Government Program Managers in executing acquisition programs in accordance with FAR, DoDI 5000.02, and applicable Air Force guidance and regulations.
- Provide acquisition program management support throughout the acquisition lifecycle to help achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Lead and support multiple program management efforts, including acquisition documentation development, review activities, executive briefings, and high-level taskers.
- Support program risk management activities, including identification, analysis, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of programmatic risks.
- Develop, review, and maintain acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Risk Management Plans, milestone documentation, and related program artifacts.
- Support the preparation and review of acquisition reports, including Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES), Monthly Activity Reports (MARs), Source Approval Requests (SARs), and other statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and present briefings, schedules, status reports, graphics, and acquisition documentation for Government leadership and stakeholders.
- Support source selection activities, including evaluation criteria development, Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and related acquisition documentation.
- Review acquisition and program documentation to ensure consistency, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies and guidance.
- Support implementation and execution of acquisition and development processes in coordination with Government and contractor personnel.
- Assist with program integration activities, contractor deliverable tracking, and schedule management.
- Support preparation and submission of funding documentation, including Purchase Requests, MIPRs, and related acquisition documentation.
- Monitor and support coordination among program stakeholders to facilitate successful program execution.
- Provide acquisition policy guidance, process recommendations, and program management best practices to support program objectives.
- Support operational planning, capability development, event integration, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of acquisition best practices.
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline
Years of experience: 8 years of directly related experience with 5 years in a DoD setting
