Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for Cornell 3- our MedSurg Unit! This is a full-time Day shift position (12 hour) in Charlottesville, VA. One of the best staffed Medical/Surgical units in the state!

Up to 15k Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates!

About the Unit:

Cornell 3 is a 24-bed medical-surgical unit focused on gastrointestinal care, addressing conditions like gallbladder diseases, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, and procedures such as colon resections and ostomy creation. The unit also cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, and diabetes complications, maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 for personalized care. Cornell 3 promotes a collaborative atmosphere with a multidisciplinary team and supports professional growth, blending the resources of a major medical center with a community hospital's warmth, aiming to make a meaningful difference in patient lives.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse License
• At least 2 years of clinical RN experience, Preferred.
• BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
