About the role

The Senior Marketing Performance Analyst is responsible for delivering an accurate picture of marketing effectiveness across segments, channels, and campaigns through past, real-time, and future-looking lenses.  By identifying actionable intelligence from lead generation and marketing program data, this position helps our stakeholders use data to drive fact-based decision making.  The role will also be called upon to communicate these results to stakeholders and provide suggestions based on their findings to influence business decisions.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Marketing Performance Analyst, you will:

  • Create, deliver, and interpret weekly, monthly, and ad hoc marketing reporting both from existing tools (e.g., Tableau, SFDC, etc.) as well as self-generated

  • Process and extract insight from a variety of demand generation marketing sources to drive decision making within the business

  • Lead and maintain an accurate, holistic view of marketing business performance reporting across demand generation segments and channels – look for actionable insight (or predictive insight) rather than simply reporting on what happened already

  • Partner with Demand Generation team counterparts to understand their requirements and workflows with a focus on focus on email and webinar activities

  • Investigate data anomalies to identify root cause and find opportunities for either optimization or clean-up

  • Share insights and recommendations to marketing leadership through presentations and other communications

Key Skills for the role:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Marketing Analyst enabling Channel, Campaign, Segment, Sub-Segment, etc. level data and reporting

  • Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes and data source structures

  • Actively identify and participate in driving increased data quality and efficiency improvements, standardization, and business system enhancements

  • Strong ability to prioritize, complete tasks independently with a high degree of accuracy, work with attention to detail, and deal with ambiguity

  • Skilled in navigating complex organizations, systems, and processes, distilling complexity into digestible reports, and communicating to stakeholders

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Marketing Performance Analyst, if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree in Marketing or Analytics preferred

  • 5-7 years of marketing data analysis experience

  • Strong technical skills including Tableau, SFDC, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

  • Experience with reporting from email automation (e.g., Eloqua) and webinar (e.g., ON24) tools a plus

  • Prior track-record driving significant business impact, influencing specific OKRs/metrics

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Curious, adaptable, self-starter with strong attention to detail
