Software Engineering Manager (Hybrid Work Model)

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of software engineers to build and enhance our document publishing platform. You will combine strong technical expertise with a strategic product mindset to drive innovative, impactful solutions to realize efficiencies in the document publishing lifecycle. Your leadership will foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for a manager who has experience in Software Engineering and Product Management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision that aligns with business objectives and strategy.

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a talented team of software engineers to bring innovative and transformative ideas to life, providing real-world impact.

  • Implement and enforces coding standards, best practices, and quality control processes to maintain high software quality and performance.

  • Allocate resources effectively, considering skills, workload, and priorities.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, fostering creativity and innovation with the development team.

  • Administer human resource-related activities including timely performance and salary reviews.

• What it Takes:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

  • Proven experience in software development and team management.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Successful track record of project management practices and software delivery.

  • Ability to communicate, both written and presentation, to appropriate audiences.

  • OOD experience in Java preferred.

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.
