We’ve expanded our business across Canada, the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia to become a global leader, all by bringing together industry experts to find solutions with an entrepreneurial mindset. </p><p></p><p>While our work powers communities across the globe, <b>Northland is powered by our people.</b></p><p></p>What you’ll do:<br/>The Consolidation Analyst will be responsible for the consolidation of all entities in Spain.<h3></h3><p></p><p><b><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></b></p><ul><li>Prepare Financial Consolidation Models and Corporate Reporting Package on quarterly basis under IFRS using the FCCS tool (Oracle)</li><li>Report monthly Cash Flow forms</li><li>Assist with the quarterly review and year-end audit process. Ensure efficient and successful yearend close and satisfactory audit results with minimal issues identified.</li><li>Prepare consolidation journal entries for reporting and Consolidation Models</li><li>Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements under Spanish GAAPs for Statutory Annual accounts</li><li>Support in Process Improvements, Internal and External Audit, and Ad Hoc Projects.</li><li>Ensure Consolidated Financial Reporting Packages follows corporate reporting standards,</li><li>corporate accounting policies, and IFRS.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are:</b></p><ul><li><b>Methodical and organized: </b>you naturally work in a methodical way and relish the opportunity to add structure and order to your work. You know when you need to ask for help and are comfortable doing so</li><li><b>Flexible: </b>You are agile in your approach to your work and in working hours, after all you will be working alongside colleagues in other countries</li><li><b>Pragmatic: </b>You are hands on and love getting involved in the detail</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications and experience:</b></p><ul><li><span>Degree in economics, or business administration, MBA will be valued.</span></li><li><span>A minimum of 5 years prior experience in consolidation or audit in international companies</span></li><li><span>Solid understanding of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.</span></li><li><span>Previous experience with Oracle FCCS or other consolidation tools (HFM, Onestream, SAP BPC) is a plus.</span></li><li><span>Previous experience with ERP systems (Workday would be desirable) is a plus.</span></li><li><span>Fluent in English.</span></li><li><span>Strong systems and technical/computer skills</span></li><li><span>Proven experience in simplifying and streamlining processes</span></li></ul><p></p><h3></h3><p></p><p><b><span>What’s In It for You:</span></b><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span>Our employees are the driving force behind our achievements.
