About the role

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our fast-paced healthcare team in the Emergency Department Benefit-eligible positions available: 0.65 FTE
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct physical exams and medical histories of patients
Develop and implement treatment plans for acute
Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests
Provide patient education and counseling on health issues and preventive care
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

Master's degree in Nursing and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program
Active state nursing license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
Weekend responsibility
