LotusWorks is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager / Construction Superintendent to oversee electrical scope delivery within a high-tech semiconductor fabrication facility in Chandler, AZ. This position plays a key role in managing all electrical construction activities, including power distribution, instrumentation and controls, life safety systems (LSS), and telecom infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary lead for the electrical construction scope, managing installation through commissioning of electrical, I&C, LSS, and telecom systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and drive the execution schedule and resource plan for all electrical scope of work.
  • Partner with design, engineering, facilities, and operations teams to clarify scope, review drawings/specifications, identify scope gaps or conflicts, and manage change control.
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, performance, coordination, and compliance with project schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct site supervision and inspections to ensure workmanship quality, adherence to codes (NEC/NFPA), safety standards, and company QA/QC practices.
  • Lead the commissioning and turnover process for electrical systems, collaborating with startup and commissioning teams to validate readiness for production operations.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, progress reports, commissioning checklists, punch lists, and as-built logs.
  • Implement continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives within semiconductor electrical construction.
  • Mentor and guide field superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel to reinforce project safety and quality culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. 

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, or Project Manager.
  • Proven experience managing electrical construction projects from installation through commissioning, including I&C, LSS, and telecom systems.
  • Direct experience within the semiconductor industry—familiarity with cleanroom requirements, complex system integration, and high-spec standards.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing field operations, subcontractors, and QA/QC processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and electrical safety compliance.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and track detailed construction schedules and resource plans.
  • Strong technical aptitude for identifying and resolving complex electrical or integration issues.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills (RFIs, submittals, progress reports, as-builts, etc.).
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Journeyman License preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification required prior to site mobilization.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
