Responsibilities
Responsibilities: - Collecting and analyzing operational data for Wipfli LLP and Consolidated Financial Reporting - Reconciling - Preparing Monthly adjusting Journal Entries - Preparing Monthly Accrual Entries - Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Analysis - Various requests for GL Account information - Wipfli Foundation monthly Accounting and Check Requests - Monthly Journal Entries and Bank Account Reconciliation - Preparation and Send to Accounts Payable check requests for Foundation gifts - Preparation and completion of various Financial Surveys - Back up for Sales/Use Tax and 1099 Reporting - Other Various Partnership requestsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA a plus - 0-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or other related fields. - Working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling - Business acumen and curiosity - Experience working with ERP systems and databases Skills and Abilities - Proven interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills including being comfortable with interacting with firm leadership - Developing analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills - Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow - Comfort with dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work autonomously - Attention to accuracy and detail - Plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively - Balance multiple projects simultaneously Tiffany Farnsworth, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
