About this Role:
The Regional Area Manager (RAM) is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence across multiple Ashley HomeStores (typically 2-3 locations). This role is dedicated to executing strategic business plans, ensuring brand consistency, and fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with company values. By leveraging financial, operational, and customer service data, the RAM identifies opportunities for improvement and drives continuous success.
As a key leader, the RAM provides inspirational leadership by setting high standards, coaching teams to exceed expectations, and ensuring each store achieves its sales and customer satisfaction targets. This leader maintains a visible presence in the stores, working closely with store management teams to optimize sales, elevate the guest experience, and develop future leaders.
Essential Functions:
- Strategic Leadership & Sales Performance
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve regional sales, gross margin, operating expense, and key performance targets.
- Lead store management teams in meeting and exceeding performance goals, including Sales Per Guest (SPG), Net Promoter Score (NPS), Gross Margin (GM), and other key KPIs.
- Optimize guest conversion and sales execution through Ashley’s Proven Sales Approach.
- Monitor financial performance across all assigned locations, analyzing daily reports and identifying trends to drive improvements.
- Conduct ongoing business reviews and store audits to assess performance in merchandising, sales, marketing, staffing, and operational efficiency.
