Sr. Business Development Manager, Hydroprocessing Technology

The Role:

We are seeking for a motivated and results driven Business Development Manager in Hydroprocessing Technology to join our dynamic team. In this role you will support all aspects of KBR’s hydroprocessing portfolio including R&D, manufacturing, business development and customer support.  The hydroprocessing portfolio includes hydrotreating and hydrocracking technologies for both refining and petrochemicals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development activities for hydroprocessing portfolio. Develops and maintains relationships with key client decision makers and executives.

  • Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments

  • Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for the KBR’s hydroprocessing technology portfolio

  • Guide technology sessions, presenting papers, building customer and partner relationships, and develop new/existing sales leads

  • Supports global marketing events as a spokesperson for the business line

  • Coordination of cross-functional teams

  • Maintains awareness and evaluates the state of the global hydroprocessing technology markets, advising on business line strategy and technology development.

  • Provide support to the evaluation and execution of alliances and acquisitions of relevant technologies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years CURRENT experience in relevant hydroprocessing technology including hydrotreating and hydrocracking and general knowledge in all refining technology

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments

  • Must have the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and principles in both verbal and written communications to clients, peers, and KBR management

  • Operational experience is a plus

  • Must be willing and available for 25-40% domestic and international travel
