The Maintenance Planner oversees and monitors all maintenance activities for installations, repair and upkeep of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and plan preventative maintenance tasks that will in turn reduce emergency maintenance

• Evaluate trends and maintenance data

• Implement plant maintenance program, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling maintenance activities and materials to optimize machinery/equipment

• Develop and implement plans in collaboration with maintenance, operations and purchasing to minimize cost and maintain inventories

• Coordinate plant activities with the operations departments and assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions, as needed

• Actively participates in production meetings to prioritize work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times

• Manage planned work in Dynaway software

• Maintain and update work order status

• Perform other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of data analysis tools and reporting

• Advanced computer skills, and understanding of spreadsheets

• Ability to develop long-term strategic maintenance plans and forecasts 

• Attention to detail and accuracy
