Examples of duties

Colorado Correctional Industries (CCi) is a cash funded, self supporting division of the Colorado Department of Corrections. This position may be eliminated at any time if funding is discontinued.  The Department may be able to assist with transferring you to a position that is either comparable or below the classification that you were hired for, but if there is not a vacant position it may result in termination of employment. If the position is eliminated it may require you to relocate to another correctional facility or geographical location based on the need of the CDOC.  Also, you must meet minimum qualifications for any vacant positions in order to be considered for a transfer.  CCi provides services to many government and non profit organizations with an emphasis on excellent customer service.

This position is a Wild Land Fire Fighting Supervisor, (SWIFT) Correctional Support Trades Supervisor I (CSTS I) but will also be utilized as a float for other Correctional Industries departments to include, but not limited to Farm, Leather Products, Metal Fabrication, TAG/TAB/Sign, and Heavy Equipment.  This position will need to adjust schedule based on the need of the department, and may be asked to work day/night shifts as needed.  This position ensures the s
