Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Facility Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, staying visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and guests, and use technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily tasks. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including production and storage areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of the surroundings.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support operational needs.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
