Role Description: The EHS Intern will gain practical, in-the-field experience by supporting the Environmental, Health, and Safety department at the Loudon facility. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. The intern will work on a critical project to analyze and map noise levels throughout the facility and ensure all required safety signage is in place and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring EHS professional to apply their academic knowledge to real-world scenarios in a manufacturing setting.
Additional housing stipend from $1,500 to $3,000 depending on work and candidate's location.
Key Projects & Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive noise mapping project of the Loudon facility.
- Utilize EHS technical knowledge to verify and update required safety and informational signage.
- Assist with other EHS-related tasks and inspections as needed.
- Collaborate with EHS professionals to understand and implement safety protocols.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic technical knowledge of health, safety, and environmental principles.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in safety regulations.
- Ability to work in an industrial, on-site environment,
- Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's program at an accredited college/university
