We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant for a busy primary care practice. Pay range is $18-$21.
Skills: Phlebotomy, basic wound care, ECG, spirometry, injections, vaccine administration

Job Description:

• Calibrate spirogram
• Prep exam rooms
• Huddle/Post-huddle calls
• Track down electronic reports, labs, notes for patients seen that day (Carelink login needed)
• Use CRISP Interface to obtain patient information on need-to-know basis
• Working the phones
• Cross-cover for registration/front desk
• Handle pre-ops
• Schedule patients and confirm appointments as needed
• Prepare letters of medical necessity/ other letters as needed
• Assist with paperwork
• Schedule pt.’s /check out tasks assistance
• e-Referrals using P2P
• FaxServer tasks including fax logs
• Document management
• eClinicalWorks troubleshooting support ticket login
• Build physician database including NPIs
• Vaccine billing (build and reinforce knowledge)
• Prescription/e-Prescription (Rx/eRx)
• Review of System (ROS) on long visits
• Medical Wellness Visits (MWV) questions and exam prior to provider visit
• Billing for Prolia ( for receiving patients)
