Line Relief Operator - 2nd Shift

The Line Relief Operator performs all duties associated with line production positions (Pack-off, Inspection, Stacking, and Dumper Operator). The Line Relief Operator follows a scheduled break cycle throughout the shift. This position is located at the Packaging Center.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect product prior to packaging.
• Discard unacceptable material in the proper containers.
• Remove poly bags from the line conveyor, and place in a shipping container.
• Discard any poly bags that are defective in any way.
• Stack boxes neatly on pallets according to a specific pattern.
• Monitor the flow of product for the production line.
• Chop up product that is clumped together in bins.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.

 

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Safety mindset.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
