Summary of Job Duties:

The Extra Help Assistant position will work on assigned tasks by the ME professor, Dr. Dabetwar, related to various projects for Mechanical Engineering applications involving artificial intelligence. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a UA Little Rock Engineering program.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Listening and following directions;

• Completing the assigned tasks in the given timeline;

• Assisting with conducting research;

• Following the lab rules;

• Present in student competitions, write papers, create posters, and participate in conferences.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts;

• Basic knowledge of using Mechanical engineering-related equipment;

• Follow research ethics;

• Good time management skills and motivation to complete the research-related tasks;

• Follows instructions and responds to the assignments promptly and meticulously.
