About the role

We’re looking for a strategic, curious, and highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our Growth team supporting MobilityWare’ s portfolio of mobile games. In this role, User Acquisition will be your primary business focus, partnering closely with teams across UA, Creative, Product, and Finance to help drive smart, data-informed growth decisions.

This role is specifically focused on User Acquisition and Growth Analytics within mobile gaming. We are primarily seeking candidates with established hands-on experience supporting UA, performance marketing, or growth teams, ideally within mobile games or consumer mobile apps.

This is much more than a reporting role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into complex data, identifying meaningful trends and opportunities, and translating insights into clear recommendations that influence strategy. The ideal candidate is both analytical and collaborative, someone who can think critically about performance while also communicating ideas clearly and working closely with cross-functional partners.

You’ll play an important role in helping shape acquisition strategy across channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta, and other ad networks. From campaign performance and creative testing to monetization trends and growth forecasting, your insights will help guide decisions across multiple game titles.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the User Acquisition team across 2–4 mobile game titles to help drive growth through thoughtful, data-informed decision making
  • Analyze UA performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and key drivers impacting growth and efficiency
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights around campaign optimization, audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative performance, and budget allocation
  • Evaluate key performance metrics including ROAS, CPI, retention, LTV, payback windows, and install growth
  • Design and analyze A/B tests across creative concepts, acquisition channels, targeting strategies, and app store optimization efforts
  • Collaborate with Creative teams to better understand ad performance, funnel conversion, and opportunities for iteration and experimentation
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Data teams to align acquisition performance with broader business goals
  • Build and improve dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that help teams make faster and more informed decisions
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to help identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, organized, and approachable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bring structure, curiosity, and strong analytical thinking to open-ended or ambiguous business questions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting User Acquisition, Growth, or Performance Marketing teams through analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Strong understanding of mobile user acquisition, performance marketing, and growth metrics such as CPI, ROAS, retention, and LTV
  • Proven experience analyzing and optimizing paid acquisition performance across channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta, or similar ad networks
  • Experience supporting products with hybrid IAP + IAA monetization models is strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with SQL experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Looker, Python, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Amplitude, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain not just the answer, but the thinking behind it
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor insights to different audiences
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for mobile games, experimentation, player behavior, and continuous learning
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, positive approach to problem-solving

Candidates without direct UA or growth analytics experience are unlikely to be a fit for this role.
