Job Description Summary:

The Cardiac Sonographer (CS) performs all echocardiograms and maintains supplies/records relevant to the Echocardiography department in an outpatient scheduled and planned care environment. The primary role of the Cardiac Sonographer is to obtain diagnostic recordings of cardiac ultrasound images, Stress Echos and Doppler hemodynamic data.

Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:

EDUCATION
1. High School graduate required.
2. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical Sonography and Cardiovascular Technician program and/or eligible for RDCS credential. Must be RDCS within one year of employment.

EXPERIENCE
Three years full-time experience in an equivalent position preferred. \.

LICENSE/REGISTRATION CERTIFICATION:
1. BLS certification required at hire.
2. Credentialed as RDCS/RDMS, or eligible. Must complete within one year of hire.

PREREQUISITE SKILLS
Demonstrates skill with scanning and reporting transthoracic, and stress echocardiography
Arrhythmia interpretation skills preferred.

The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy. Positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by those agreements.
