First American is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Commercial Escrow Officer to join our growing team in Denver. This role is responsible for establishing new escrow accounts and processing escrow documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. As a neutral third-party between buyers and sellers, you will manage funds and facilitate real estate transactions with precision and professionalism.How You’ll Contribute:
- Independently handle specific types of escrow transactions with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with Escrow and Underwriting teams to identify and mitigate risk.
- Actively participate in NCS Sat calls and training sessions.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of corporate and NCS policies, including wire fraud prevention.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience directly handling escrow transactions as an escrow assistant.
- Escrow Officer certification or completion of an escrow officer training program may be required depending on state regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the escrow/title industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong client relations, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective and timely communication with all transaction parties.
- Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and geometric measurements.
Pay Range: $26.21-$34.95 hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
