"Warehouse & Operations Associate" Role Overview:
The Warehouse & Operations Associate is a hybrid role that supports both warehouse operations and light operational/service tasks in the Kingman, Arizona market. This position offers flexibility; however, the employee will be required to report to the warehouse regularly and as needed to support operational duties. They will also be responsible for documentation support and frequent travel to support solar project operations, including permit pick-ups and inter-branch coordination.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives working independently while contributing to the success of solar installation projects and regional operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory control tasks, including scanning, tracking, and replenishing weekly shipments for crews.
  • Receive, validate, and organize shipments of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure order and cycle count accuracy, meeting or exceeding established performance benchmarks.
  • Support solar projects with operational tasks, including:
    • Picking up permits from city/county offices.
    • Delivering documentation and project-related materials.
    • Taking photos and providing project updates to crews.
  • Travel frequently to complete permit pick-ups, deliveries, and branch support (including occasional trips to Phoenix).
  • Operate forklifts and company vehicles safely (certification training provided if not already licensed).
  • Serve as a support contact for crews to ensure materials and documentation are ready for each job.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of warehouse, operations, or logistics experience (solar industry experience preferred).
  • Forklift operating ability required (certification can be obtained upon hire).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to support operational/administrative tasks, including permits and basic service documentation.

Work Environment & Office Structure
This position is warehouse-based with travel responsibilities. The associate must be available to report to the Kingman warehouse to support warehouse operations as needed. The role also requires frequent regional travel for permit pick-ups and operational support, with occasional trips to OWE’s Phoenix branch.

  • Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM (with occasional Saturdays based on crew schedules).
  • Long hours and early start times should be expected in alignment with solar project demands.
  • Company vehicle provided for work travel (not for personal use).

Measures of Success:

  1. First-Time Completion (FTC) Materials: >97%
  2. Cycle Count Accuracy: >97%
  3. Order Accuracy: >97%
