About Allianz X

 

Allianz X is the digital investment unit of the Allianz Group, primarily focused on growth equity investments. We are investing in digital growth companies that are part of the ecosystems related to insurance and wealth management. Our goal is to identify and invest in the best digital frontrunners that are strategically relevant for the Allianz Group. We provide an interface between portfolio companies and the digital ecosystem within Allianz as well as drive innovation across Allianz's operating and global lines of business. The current application is sector agnostic and focuses on the sourcing and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as supporting portfolio companies on shareholder related topics.

 

 

Candidate Profile: 

 

Responsibilities:​

​

• ​Screen and evaluate incoming investment leads​
• Prepare research reports on assigned topics, management presentations and periodic reports​
• Assist with all relevant aspects of a transaction, mainly due diligence reviews and business synergy assessments
• Assist in the monitoring of portfolio companies​
• Maintain an overview and understanding of key terms in the legal documentation related to selected transactions
• Day-to-day support on other relevant projects

 

Requirements:

 

• Master’s degree in business or STEM
• Affinity for financial modeling, data analysis, and creative problem-solving
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Professional experience is a plus
