Job Summary

Cleans, evaluates, inspects and ships/delivers/recovers specified medical equipment including, but not limited to, concentrators and PAP supplies. Receives incoming vendor orders and assists with inventory and other assigned warehouse duties.

                         

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Clean and test specified respiratory devices / equipment. 
• May deliver and recover respiratory devices / equipment.
• Appropriately documents work activities.
• Receive incoming vendor orders including, but not limited to, oxygen tanks and PAP supplies.
• Pick, pack and ship respiratory supplies to patients in the home / facility.
• Run reports and assist with inventory duties as needed.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications:

• Must have a valid state driver’s license (VDL), a good driving record, obtain and maintain eligibility as determined by CCF’s insurance carrier’s requirements to operate Foundation vehicles

Competencies (Complexity of Work):

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work successfully in a fast-pace, time constrained environment

Work Experience:

• Hospital experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
   

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending and reaching. 
• Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Must be ambulatory and able to drive to patients' homes and climb stairs.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate with patients and caregivers.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
