Overview
This person will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in the automotive department.Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Associate's Degree in related discipline, OR, equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. Preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years related trade experience. Required
- Relevant secondary or postsecondary school teaching experience. Preferred
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Effective oral and written communication skills. Required
- Developed organizational skills. Required
Responsibilities
Physical Standards and Special Job Features
-Getting in and out of cars, ability to move freely around, under and in car/truck getting under car and hood of car etc.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay Transparency
The part-time rate for 2024/25 will be the greater of $1160 per credit or $773 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven. The approved substitute pay rate is $48.31 per hour during the first week of substituting and the prorated part-time teacher rate for consecutive substitute assignments that exceed one week.College Statement
