About The Position:
The Aircraft Parts Sales Account Manager is responsible for the management, service, and ultimate revenue growth of the assigned customer(s). Activities will include cold calling, quoting/bidding, order processes, product pricing, and becoming knowledgeable about all products and services offered by Team JAS. This position is responsible for maintaining up-to-date and current product costs to provide accurate quotes to customers and potential customers. Those in this position must become knowledgeable about industry-standard processes and requirements. The Sales Account Manager will be the Team JAS expert on their assigned accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure industry-leading service and support to our customers
- Correspond with customers via email, phone, ILS, Aeroxchange, and Parts base for requests for price, availability, and lead time for the sale of parts and repairs
- Continuously develop and grow customer relationships at all levels
- Ensure Team JAS ERP System (Quantum Control) integrity and accuracy
- Utilize company business system (Quantum Control) and portal data to identify and document customer needs and maintain continuous communication regarding open part orders, SPECS, and part availability
- Gather information regarding airline fleets and possible changes to the fleets
- Broker parts for customers, as needed
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, noteworthy developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company personnel
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, including spare packages
- Identify and contact sales prospects, and other accounts as assigned
- Follow up on existing customers to maintain customer satisfaction
- Create and manage sales orders until the order is fulfilled
- Deliver work accurately and on time to customer expectations
- Assist accounting with the collection of outstanding invoices

Technical Knowledge & Abilities:
- Aerospace Industry Expertise: Familiarity with aircraft components, systems, and industry terminology, especially related to commercial and regional aircraft.
- Experience Selling in the Aviation Aftermarket: Proven ability to sell spare parts and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services effectively.
