POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Model development: Develop mathematical models of systems or products using tools like MATLAB and Simulink. This involves creating block diagrams, specifying system behavior, and implementing algorithms.

• Simulation and analysis: Use simulation techniques to analyze the behavior of the system model under different conditions and inputs. This includes running simulations, analyzing simulation results, and identifying areas for improvement or optimization.

• System integration: support integration of the system model with other components or subsystems.

• Testing and validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate the system model against requirements and specifications. This includes performing unit testing, integration testing, and system-level testing to ensure the model behaves as expected.

• Requirement management: understand how to manage and work with software requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: This includes participating in design reviews and contributing to development process of certain system components.

• Creating technical documentation, user manuals, and design specifications.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in MBD tools, techniques, and industry practices. Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training, self-study, and participation in professional development activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years of professional experience

• English proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Programming skills in MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++ is essential. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python can also be beneficial.

• Familiarity with Model-Based Design approach: This includes knowledge of building models, simulating systems, analyzing simulation results, and code generation.

• System-level thinking: This includes understanding system requirements, architecture, and integration.

• Familiarity with the process of development safety critical software (DO-178C) and models (DO-331).

• Applying good practices with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agile development and CI/CD.

• Understanding of mathematical modeling techniques and simulation methods.

• Ability to identify issues, and propose effective solutions.

• Continuous learning: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

• Collaborating in international and multi-national projects.
