Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mulesoft API and Python Lambda Developer to join our dynamic Client Communications Technology team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure API integrations and serverless functions to enhance our client communication systems.
What You’ll Do:
- API Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
- Ensure API performance, security, and scalability.
- Implement API versioning, rate limiting, and other best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts and data models.
- Serverless Function Development:
- Develop and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda and Python.
- Write efficient and well-structured Python code.
- Integrate serverless functions with other systems and APIs.
- Troubleshoot and optimize function performance.
- Integration Development:
- Design and implement integrations between various systems, including legacy systems and cloud-based applications.
- Utilize Mulesoft connectors and transformers to map and transform data.
- Handle error handling, logging, and monitoring of integrations.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in API and serverless function implementations.
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and fix defects.
- Deployment and Maintenance:
- Deploy and manage API and serverless function deployments to production environments.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong proficiency in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and CloudHub.
- Solid understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and API security standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with Python programming language, including AWS L
