Job Summary
As a Senior SDET, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll help build automation frameworks and tools while working closely with engineering teams to foster a strong culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone passionate about the quality of deliverables and eager to continue growing as a technical expert.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation (API and UI).
Partner with engineers to build, execute and expand our automated test suite.
Identify opportunities to improve testability and reliability of the codebase.
Write comprehensive test plans and develop reusable testing tools and libraries.
Track and report test coverage, defect metrics, and automation health.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
Define and execute regression test strategies to safeguard against bugs during feature releases.
Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, developers, and UX to ensure delivery of high-quality features.
Leverage AI-powered tools and techniques to enhance test coverage, test data generation, and defect prediction.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
5–8 years in software quality engineering.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).
Strong proficiency in JavaScript; Ruby is a plus.
Solid understanding of testing concepts and software development lifecycle.
Proficient in writing and maintaining functional UI/API automation.
Experience or interest in using AI/ML tools to optimize testing processes (e.g., intelligent test generation, prioritization, or analysis).
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with developer tools (git, build tools, scripting, and IDEs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear communicator with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
Located in Latin America.
Fluent English level.
