POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Advocate and Privacy Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to patient complaints and privacy compliance within Hattiesburg Clinic as well as coordinating the response to such issues with other health care providers when needed. The Patient Advocate and Privacy Coordinator will assist in handling patient complaints, collecting data, resolving complaints, and assessing and identifying any problem areas for review by administrators. In addition, the Patient Advocate and Privacy Coordinator will assist the Privacy Officer with compliance and regulatory issues related to HIPAA compliance and similar matters, including auditing, patient rights, policy development, and organizational education.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (RN), required
• Current MS state licensure, required
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in management of a medical office, preferred

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
