Job Description

As part of the Growth Marketing team for LinkedIn Ads, the Customer Journey Lead will architect the optimal customer journey for LinkedIn advertisers that accelerates both new customer acquisition and existing customer growth. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing and will interface with senior leaders spanning Marketing, Product and Sales as we work together to build and manage a high-performing customer journey. The scope of this role spans both LinkedIn’s advertising products and premium offerings, as we seek to unify the experience of Marketers across both solutions. The Customer Journey Lead will analyze our existing customer data to define the optimal experience, validate the analysis via customer research and experimentation, and recommend the key investments we should make as a business to capture the best opportunities.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate a cross-functional team spanning Product, Marketing, Sales and Data Science to define the ideal customer experience for LinkedIn advertisers, spanning acquisition and existing customer motions.

  • Develop a data-driven approach to identify the right entry points, up-sell paths and interventions that will lead to the best outcomes for customers and, as a result, the highest revenue growth for LinkedIn.

  • Validate the recommendations derived from data-driven models by coordinating a roadmap of customer research studies and cross-functional experiments.

  • Communicate key insights and recommendations to senior LinkedIn leaders in order to influence cross-functional resource prioritization.

  • Define a unified set of performance metrics that can be shared cross-functionally to ensure all programs that engage customers solve for the same outcomes.

  • Continuously monitor and optimize the customer journey to improve overall performance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Work experience in digital advertising industry.

  • Experience managing and acquisition and lifecycle marketing programs & campaigns.

  • Deep expertise in building and analyzing data-driven lifecycle models and developing strategies to capitalize on insights from the analysis.

  • Background in A/B testing across Marketing and Product initiatives.

  • Experience defining, building and tracking operational metrics related to new customer acquisition and existing customer growth.

  • Executive communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business acumen developed in previous Business Operations, Consulting, or Finance roles; MBA preferred.

  • Product Marketing background or experience in conducting customer research to understand un-met needs and pain points.

  • Experience developing or managing a team.

The pay range for this role is $175,000-$224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
