About the role

Providence is inviting current nursing students and recent graduates to apply for our RN Residency Program at Providence Medford Medical Center. An RN Residency with Providence will provide the foundation and support essential to becoming an expert in your specialty. Learn through a combination of structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experience guided by experienced preceptors. If you are a recent graduated RN, with less than 12 months of experience, then the Providence resident program is for you. 

Providence Medford Medical Center is a full-service, 120-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital providing exceptional health care to southern Oregon and northern California. Services offered include emergency services, stroke care, cardiac and vascular care, birth center, total joint replacement and spine health programs, robotic surgery, pain management services and one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation programs in the region.

All openings will require scheduling on rotating weekends

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association. (select units)
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty is preferred, unless otherwise indicated.
