We’re looking for an Associate Software Engineer who’s eager to learn, build, and innovate in the DO ecosystem. You’ll help design and develop tools and services that enhance the DO platform — supporting everything from digital order processing and orchestration to real-time fulfillment tracking.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Engineering Services

  • Participates in engineering projects by adapting and applying software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations.
  • Ability to learn technologies being used. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology.

Technical Writing

  • Maintains clear documentation for new code and systems used. Documenting systems designs and business requirements.
  • Technical Leadership
  • Collaborates with technical team to deliver technical solutions. Continuously learns new technologies. Ability to offer and communicate ideas and opinions. Awareness of technology roadmap.

Technology Strategy

  • Contributes to emerging technologies to deliver business goals.
  • Understands current technology that supports business goals. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.

Innovation

  • Understands and shares new ideas which improve an existing system/process/service. System analysis and innovation for continuous system improvement.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
  • Less than 2 years Technical engineering experience. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile principles.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX development using Angular and React frameworks.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Eagerness to learn complex distributed systems, order workflows, and platform integrations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Technical Writing (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $66,900 - $120,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or
