As a Middle Office Trade Support Associate in the Credit Portfolio Group (CPG) Trading team, you will have the opportunity to support the CPG Trading and the Traditional Credit Products (TCP) desks. You will face off to the front office and liaise with all JPM businesses in an environment that is fast-paced, dynamic, and continually evolving with new pricing methodologies and process changes that impact the firm as a whole.
Job responsibilities
- Book a variety of derivatives across multiple asset classes
- Produce and explain daily P&L/Risk, ensuring accuracy
- Understand and explain movements in the Greeks
- Manage cash flows and ensure accurate, timely settlement
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures
- Build an effective control environment and set minimum standards
- Develop strong relationships across various teams
- Collate key business metrics for control forums
- Incorporate project management to support new trade requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Significant investment banking experience
- Strong understanding of end-to-end lifecycle of rates derivatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and investigative skills
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Confidence in internal communication at all levels
- Independent, proactive, and self-motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Experience working with technology development teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of accounting and finance
- Good understanding of Alteryx and Tableau
