Position Overview:

AMERGINT Technologies, an ARKA Company is seeking software engineers who are passionate about working closely with customers to solve difficult mission-critical challenges. Responsibilities:

• Work with a group designing software for satellite communication systems 
• Designing, coding, integrating, configuring, and testing software. 
• Collaborate with other disciplines including electrical engineering, firmware, and test. 
• Use your skills in Python and C++, message protocol interpretation, real time processing, test script development and use of agile processes working under minimal supervision 
• Conduct automated and manual testing of applications controlling integrated hardware and peripheral equipment while supporting/enhancing existing software products as necessary. 

Basic Qualifications:

• College graduate with a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field 
• 5+ years of experience PYTHON development 
• 5+ years of experience C++ development 
• 5+ years of experience with the Linux Operating system 
• Experience with version control tools such as SVN, GIT 
• Experience with real time systems  
• Experience with telemetry and satellite communications 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree a plus 
• Experience with Software Defined Radios is a plus 
• Experience with the use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and digital multi-meters is a plus 
• Familiarity with PCM telemetry 

Pay Range:  Colorado pay range:  $110,000 - $120,000.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
