The Senior Compensation Analyst Position
Sunnova Energy is currently searching for a Sr. Compensation Analyst to assist in the administration of the company’s broad based compensation programs. The Senior Compensation Analyst Position
Sunnova Energy is currently searching for a Sr. Compensation Analyst to assist in the administration of the company’s broad based compensation programs. This position will play a critical role in the company’s growth plans as we develop and maintain our compensation programs to compete in attracting and retaining top talent. The role will assist with our corporate strategic and aggressive development plans reporting to the Sr. Manager, Compensation and Benefits, and supporting the Total Rewards team
Responsibilities
- Evaluates jobs and performs associated market competitive and equitable pay analysis.
- Maintains broad-based salary structure and job hierarchy.
- Assists in administration of specialized incentive pay programs, sales plans.
- Works with sales team and assists in administering incentive plans compensation structure guidelines and payout.
- Maintain the incentive plan documentation.
- Reviews job descriptions for completeness and accuracy according to company’s organizational structure and FLSA status.
- Participates in and supports the annual compensation planning process, promotion cycles and merit annual equity award cycles.
- Participates in compensation surveys and analyzes results.
- Ensures pay adjustments comply with current pay policies and practices.
- Monitors market conditions, suggests recommendations when applicable.
- Provides ad-hoc reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports Sr. Manager, Compensation and Benefits on projects as requested
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum years of experience required: 2 years of broad-based compensation and analytical experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data management, including MS Excel; PowerPoint and HRIS systems.
- Experience with large compensation database
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to perform work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Proficient with compensation research and analysis.
- Analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented mind set is a must.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage and multi-task on projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Working Conditions
- Open office environment
- Remote opportunities available on a rotating schedule
Physical Requirements
- Extensive time working on computer/laptop, including sitting and visual acuity
