This team designs and develops Celonis' visual components, enabling users to analyze business processes and identify inefficiencies. This crucial platform capability impacts core product areas, presenting various technical challenges. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product management, and UX teams to create exceptional user experiences. The manager will facilitate innovative and insightful data visualization, driving the next generation of Celonis for all customers.

The Role

As an Engineering Manager, you’re responsible for delivering robust full stack applications and libraries. You will be at the frontier of frontend development, pushing the boundaries of product, UX, and engineering to enhance the Process Intelligence Graph with the next generation of process mining.

Users need help categorizing and simplifying their data in order to explore and identify insights to optimize their unique business processes. We are building the next generation of process insights with object-centric process mining to help them save time and money.

The work you will do

• Assemble, direct, and expand the Process Experiences Horizon frontend team in Madrid, ensuring the successful accomplishment of their defined goals.
• Exercise technical acumen and customer behavior insights to navigate feature development, balancing implementation speed, maintainability, scalability, and performance through informed trade-offs.
• Collaborate extensively with fellow engineering teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and leadership to guarantee the creation and implementation of influential product functionalities. These features should deliver significant customer benefits and contribute to the shaping of the broader product roadmap.
• Guide and enhance the professional growth of engineers, including those at the Staff level, while simultaneously managing their performance.
• Cultivate an engineering culture centered on trust, ownership, and collaboration, both internally and within the broader organization. Ensure the team's activities and contributions are transparent to leadership and other departments.
